We're off and running after saying our goodbyes. A short and uneventful drive over the coast range along Hwy. 26 to our first stop at the family beach house in Cannon Beach. We arrived to see the place in great shape, new windows and blinds are a big improvement. Juno was aching to get on the beach and chase a tennis ball, which she did, and was subsequently run over by a rather large wave. This didn't dampen her spirits as we walked to town and returned to the house to make dinner and plan tomorrow's route.
